There are three different options for Railbikes. I suggest the shortest route unless you have a child old enough to peddle the bikes themselves and give your legs a rest.
Railbikes are a fun way to spend a day when there is beautiful weather. They come with two pedaling stations and a bench for people to sit on. There is also space at the front for the children to stand and stretch their legs.

Know before you go
You can not just show up and get a bike and go. The times are organized and if you are late, you miss your chance and have to wait for the next turn. Look at the time schedule above and plan your trip accordingly.
Bring water and if the weather is a bit cool, layer
Going to your stopping point is uphill! Going back is downhill (obviously and LOTS of fun)
When you ride to your stopping point you get a 90 minute break. You also happen to stop at a cafe (convenient huh?). They have good food, kids food and man are you hungry/thirsty after peddling uphill.
Going back downhill is even more fun if you’ve had a beer or two during your break.
At the cafe there is a little fort with a slide that is fenced in to keep younger kids busy.
