This castle was built in the 14th century and has not been restored. It is located in the sleepy town of Falaen and is one of those you go there just to say you went there type places. Visiting these ruins is best to do when accompanied by some other activity in the area since it is quick and easy to do. I suggest doing it after doing a railbike tour or after visiting Maredsous.

You will need to hold your young child’s hand throughout the visit there are tons of drop offs and places where they would get seriously injured.
